| Your
teeth are an important
part of your personal
appearance and lifestyle.
Your beautiful smile
enhances your overall
presence, and healthy
teeth allow you to eat
and speak with confidence.
Healthy
teeth are not something
to be taken for granted.
Cavities, gum disease,
and accidents are
everyday occurrences
that can lead to the
loss of teeth. The
loss of one tooth
or several teeth can
compromise your eating
habits, speech, and
appearance. In addition,
when a tooth is lost,
the bone that surrounds
the tooth root can
deteriorate affecting
your appearance and
bite. |
|
Fortunately,
now, our latest immediate
“Speedy Groovy™”
implants have offered
a solution for not
only immediately replacing
your teeth. These
new Dental implants
provide a stable foundation
for a tooth replacement
that looks, feels,
and functions like
your natural teeth
immediately. Recently,
much has been done
on placing implants,
loading them almost
immediately, and then
delivering replacement
teeth within a few
DAYS!
Thanks
to Groovy™ –
our new and unique
grooved threads implant.
Since bone forms more
rapidly in the grooves,
the GroovyTM implants
integrate faster than
another implants and
are indicated whenever
immediate or early
loading is applied.
The Groovy implants
are preferred over
models without the
groove in soft bone
indications.
• Bone forms preferentially
within the grooves,
compared to other
parts of the implant
• Enhanced osseoconductive
properties of the
grooves and a guiding
effect on bone forming
cells
• Up to 30% increase
in stability from
mechanical interlock
created by bone formation
within the groove
What’s new
in Groovy™?
|
 |
Grooves
on all our implants
You will now have the
grooves on the threads
of all our implants
and on the collars,
where appropriate. |
 |
Groovy
on the collar too
With research showing
that bone loves bonding
with grooves, we have
extended them to the
collar of most new implants
so they:
• Increase surface area
• Increase area for
bone-to-implant contact |
 |
TiUnite
is the most significant
breakthrough in Osseointegration
today. The
unique oxidized surface
unites the biocompatibility
of commercially pure
titanium with an enhanced
oxide surface and an
optimized texture. TiUnite
incorporates a multifaceted
approach to influence
the complex biological
events that make osseointegration
possible. Upon insertion,
the early bone healing
phase is enhanced by
the textured titanium
oxide surface. |
Textured
surfaces are known to
accelerate the initial
healing phase through
absorption of protein,
the accumulation and
activation of platelets,
fibrin retention, and
consequently an increased
amount of surrounding
bone.
|
 |
TiUnite™
- now 'all the way up'
Our unique implant surface,
TiUnite®, is a biomaterial
with better ability
to maintain primary
stability than machined
surface implants, while
shortening healing times.
Numerous studies have
revealed that TiUnite®
enhances the rate of
osseointegration, which
supports Immediate Function™
and makes it possible
for a wider range of
indications. The surface
roughness has been increased,
giving the fixture optimal
surface texture with
an enlarged surface
area. |
The
surface texture was
achieved by increasing
the thickness of the
titanium oxide layer.
The unique combination
of controlled oxide
texture and porosity
will aid in the ability
to absorb proteins from
the patient's blood
for optimal biologic
effect.

| As
a result, dental implants
may be just the immediate
tooth replacement solution
you are looking for.

|
1:
Before the procedure
Our
implant dentist
makes a first
examination
and takes one
or more x-rays
of the area
to prepare for
the procedure.
|
|
2:
Installing the
implant
The implant
is installed.
At this time,
if your bone
is good, a temporary
tooth is provided
that allows
you eat and
function like
normal almost
immediately.
The implant
will need a
few months to
integrate with
the jawbone
before the next
step is taken.
|
 |
3:
Attaching the
new crown
The final step
is the placement
of the permanent
ceramic tooth.
The new tooth
is installed
for life. No
additional treatment
is needed.
|
 |
4:
End result
You should expect
the new tooth
to fit and function
just like a
natural tooth.
Do your usual
dental hygiene
to keep the
tooth and gum
around it clean
and healthy.
